"A native Californian, I spent thirty years traveling with an Army husband and raising four sons, with little time for creativity beyond the challenge of making homes in so many different places. However, I always loved to draw, and knew that when I had the time, painting would be a big part of my life.

We chose Ashland as the place to retire - and what a happy decision that was. Inspiration is everywhere, with great natural beauty and at every time of the year. It is the perfect climate for a would-be-artist, with wonderful, welcoming art groups and teachers and opportunities for workshops, all of which I have eagerly embraced. What a joy!

I have been an enthusiastic member of The Artists' workshop for a number of years, and a member of The Watercolor Society of Oregon, and the Rogue Gallery and Art Center. Watercolor is my first love, but I do an occasional oil."
