My paintings are created by blending texture, color, composition, shape, and line. Using acrylic and other mediums, I build layers, trying to create art that is both intriguing and mysterious. What happens on my paper or my canvas suggests a direction, image, and an emotional response. My method requires an open mind and willingness to experiment, allowing paintings to evolve and change throughout the process.

I started painting in the 1970s while living in Alaska, initially with oil, then migrating to watercolor, acrylics and other mediums when I moved to Oregon in 1983. My art is known for its bold color, abstract shapes, and designs. Additionally, I engage in commission work for homes, offices, and special events. My work is shown at Art & Soul Gallery in Ashland, Oregon and is included in many private collections throughout the country.
