My whole incentive in painting is to capture the light, both physically, and spiritually in everything I do.

My life has revolved around the arts from acting to writing. I returned to painting when I was raising my children. Painting runs in my family, my father was an artist, and my great, great grandfather was George Inness.

I am a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon, the Southern Oregon Society of Artists, and the Artists Workshop. My work has hung in the Rogue Gallery, and is currently hanging in the Portland Art Museum, and Art & Soul Gallery in Ashland, Oregon. My paintings have been in numerous exhibitions, and can also be found in Canada and England. The training I received has been from the many workshops I have taken throughout the country. I am painting in many mediums, as well as mixed media, and find it a constant challenge that keeps me on the edge of new horizons.
